Health and Social Services, Social Dialogue
On 20 September 2006, after six years of preparation, EPSU (the European Federation of Public Service Unions) and HOSPEEM (the European Hospital and Healthcare Employers’ Association) launched the Sectoral Social Dialogue Committee for the Hospital Sector (SSDC HS). 2016 marks the 10th anniversary of this committee and the sectoral social dialogue for the health care sector at EU-level.

Social Services
On 10 July 2023, after 10 years of preparation, EPSU (the European Federation of Public Service Union), the Social Employers and CEMR (Council of European Municipalities and Regions) launched the Sectoral Social Dialogue Committee for Social Services (SSDC SS). The 44th and most recent Sectoral Social Dialogue Committee to be established. The first plenary committee meeting took place on 12 December 2023, and you can read more about it HERE.
For detailed information on the adopted Rules of Procedure and First Work Program (2024-2026). On 3 July 2024 the Committee approved commencement of negotiations on a Framework of Actions on Retention and Recruitment, the first Work Program Priority Theme.
