Draft agenda and meeting documents are available below. Main areas for discussion will be the infrastructure proposals of the Commission, the Energy Roadmaps 2050 (and the relation with networks, for example with more renewables) and the so-called Supergrid.
We expect participating unions to cover all travel and subsistence costs of their representatives. Should you require accommodation, a list of hotels in Brussels is attached.

On the 10 Year Network Development Plan of ENTSO-E
ENTSO-E is preparing its next 10 Year Network Development Plan. It will indicate were reinforcements are needed, new interconnection is planned, what the investment challenges are etc. To prepare for these plans, a series of regional workshops have been prepared focusing on the different demands, realities etc.

Renewable Energy Network (European parliament study)
The objective of the study is to identify the energy network infrastructures needed to cope with the increasing share of renewable energies. The analysis covers a timeframe up to 2050 taking into account different existing projections of renewable energy development. Published infrastructure development priorities as well as methodologies including notably infrastructure cost benefit analyses are critically assessed. The study furthermore analyses the relationship between the promotion of renewable energy generation and related infrastructure on the one hand, and other (energy) policy goals and existing legislation at EU level on the other. Obstacles to grid-roll out are identified and policy recommendations are proposed.
