EPSU Southeast European Constituency Meeting 2020 - cancelled

We invite you to participate in the next S-E European Constituency meeting which will be held on 18-19 March 2020 at Golden Age Hotel.

The meeting will start at 09:00 on Wednesday, 18 March and will finish at noon on Thursday, 19 March.

The agenda will be sent at a later date.

Hotel accommodation and sponsorship
Each union will be entitled to one sponsorship, under the condition that the union has fulfilled its financial obligations towards EPSU and PSI up to 2020. EPSU will pay for hotel accommodation, meals and travel costs of the sponsored participants (except for internal travel in own country). Any other cost (personal expenses such as telephone, mini-bar, etc.…) will have to be borne by the participants themselves. Accommodation will be provided in single rooms.

Please note that there will be no payment of per diems.

Gender equality: each country will be expected to send an equal number of women and men in order to respect the EPSU constitutional provisions concerning gender equality.

Interpretation will be provided from/into Albanian, Bulgarian, English, Romanian and Turkish.

Travel arrangements
Participants who travel by plane are invited to submit to EPSU the price of the air ticket before purchase. We expect participants to arrive on 17 March and to depart on 19 March in the afternoon/evening.

We expect participants receiving financial assistance to make their own travel arrangements.

According to the rules governing financial assistance travel expenses will be reimbursed by bank transfer only after the event.

Visa
Citizens of the countries who need a visa should contact the Turkish embassies in their respective countries. Please bear in mind that visa applications may take more time than expected.

In order to send you an invitation for the visa, please provide us with the following personal details:

- Name;
- Date (day, month, year) and place of birth;
- Citizenship and country of residence;
- Passport No.;
- Date of issue and authority;
- Passport validity term.

It is also necessary to specify the address and contact details of the Embassy (consular office) of Turkey in your country.

Please note that EPSU does not take out accident insurances for participants who attend EPSU meetings. You should therefore ensure that your own insurance covers you adequately.
