(29 October 2019) Members of the Congress Resolutions Committee met on 25 October 2018, EPSU office. They went through the amendments received on the Programme of Action from affiliated unions and gave their recommendations. The recommendations will be considered by the EPSU Executive Committee on 6-7 November. Our colleagues looked at language issues to ensure our Programme of Action is well written and understandable. The members further considered the own affiliates resolutions. A few need some rewriting to ensure good understanding and affiliated unions will be contacted. They used the occasion to express their support for the Portuguese public services workers which were taking strike action.
The day before the Constitutional Working Group had a telephone conference following an earlier written consultation on the very few amendments received. The opinion of this group will now go to the Executive Committee for consideration before being sent to Congress delegates.
