(20 December 2016) EPSU has sent its condolences and expressed its solidarity with the people in Germany to the German affiliates following the terrible attack on the Xmas- market on the Breitscheidplatz in Berlin. Our thoughts are with those who lost loved ones, with the injured and families and friends. We think of those who will miss a colleague at work today. And of those like firefighters, health and other emergency staff, police and many more that do their job caring for the people affected.
We condemn these acts of terror. The answer to the violence that has reached so many places is our solidarity, respect for humanity and democracy across workplaces, cultures and borders.
