(1 October 2012) On Thursday October 4, the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU) calls for a solidarity picket outside of the Turkish Permanent representation to the European Union in solidarity with the 15 female members of KESK in jail since February 2012 that will be for the first time facing the judge.
As there is no legal basis for their arrest. The women officers were arrested following a meeting in the KESK offices in Ankara to prepare their 8th March International Women’s Day programme, in the campaign against social rights and trade unions that the Turkish Government is waging.
EPSU calls the Brussels-based trade union movement and the friends of democracy in Turkey to come at 12h on October 4 at the Turkish Permanent representation in Avenue des Arts 36-38 B.

Yargılanan KESK’li kadın üyeleriyle destek eylemi
Avrupa Kamu Hizmetleri Sendikaları Federasyonu (EPSU) olarak Şubat 2012 tarihinden beri tutuklu bulunan 15 kadın sendikacıyı desteklemek üzere, ilk duruşmaları vesilesiyle 4 Ekim Salı günü, Türkiye’nin AB daimi temsilciliği önünde düzenleneceğimiz eyleme çağırıyoruz.
Tutuklanmalarının hiç bir yasal zemini olmadığını hatırlatmak istiyoruz.
Sendikanın kadın yöneticileri, 8 Mart Dünya Emekçi Kadınlar Günü programını hazırlarken KESK’in Ankara’daki merkez binasında bulundukları sırada gözaltına alınmışlardı.
Bu saldırı, Türkiye hükümetinin sosyal haklara ve sendıkalara karşı yürüttüğü kampanyanın bir parçasıdır.
EPSU olarak Brüksel merkezli tüm sendikaları ve tüm Türkiye demokrasi dostları 4 Ekim tarihinde saat 12.00’da Avenue des Arts 36-38 B adresinde bulunan Türkiye’nin AB daimi temsilciliği önünde yapacağımız mitinge davet ediyoruz.

Mobilisation de soutien aux femmes membres de KESK qui affrontent le tribunal
(1 octobre 2012) Ce jeudi 4 octobre, la Fédération Syndicale Européenne des Services Publics appelle à former un piquet devant la représentation permanente turque à l’Union Européenne afin d’exprimer sa solidarité envers les 15 femmes membres du syndicat turc KESK, emprisonnées depuis janvier 2012 et qui se trouveront pour la première fois face au juge.
Aucune base juridique ne justifie leur arrestation. C’est lors d’une réunion où elles préparaient le programme de leur journée mondiale des femmes du 8 mars que ces femmes ont été arrêtées dans les bureaux du KESK à Ankara dans le cadre de la campagne menée par le gouvernement turc contre les droits sociaux et les syndicats.
La FSESP appelle les organisations syndicales basées à Bruxelles et les amis de la démocratie en Turquie à se rendre ce 4 octobre à 12h devant la représentation permanente turque à l’Union Européenne, avenue des Arts 36-38B.
