The 1,000 workers at the federal computer centre, BRZ, will see their pay increase by 2.5% from 1 January which is just ahead of the 2.35% that was negotiated for the rest of the public sector.

Energy workers get 2.5% pay rise
(March 2017) Services union ver.di has negotiated a new two-year agreement with the AVEU employers' organisation covering over 100 small firms in the energy and waste sectors, employing around 19000 workers and some 1600 apprentices. The 2.5% pay increase is from 1 March and early next year there will be a lump sum payment of EUR 600. The increase is ahead of or in line with others in the industry, such as ENGIE (1.9% from January) and AVE Hessen (2% from February) and Energie Südwest (2.45% from February). The union highlights the increases for apprentices.
Healthworkers get 2.5% but only 1.6% for prison officers
Nurses and a wide range of other healthworkers are to get a basic pay increase of 2.5% this year after the government agreed to recommendations from the nurses' pay review body. The pay review bodies are government appointed bodies which consult over pay and other conditions for around 40% of the public sector workforce, including nurses, doctors, senior civil servants, prison officers, teachers, the police and members of the armed forces. Federation sets out main demands for 2007
The FNSFP public services federation has agreed on a list of key demands for its collective negotiations in 2007. It is looking for a general pay increase of 5% across public administration with a minimum rise of €50 a month.
