- 16-17 November: workshop for local and regional government unions
affiliated to Disk (Genel-Is) and Türk-Is (Beleydi-Is, Yol-Is) on the basis of 10
participants from Disk and 10 from Türk-Is;
- 19-20 November: workshop for local and regional government unions
affiliated to Hak-Is (Hizmet-Is) and Disk (Genel-Is), on the basis of 25
participants from Hak-Is and 10 from Disk; and
- 18 November: joint workshop for participants attending the two above
workshops. This will also be open to other EPSU/PSI affiliates who would
like to participate.

- EPSU – ETUCO Toolkit for Eurotrainers in Turkish. The toolkit is made up of different factsheets on the key Europe. These are aimed at helping trade union organisations understand European integration and establish trade union strategies to promote high-quality public services.

- EPSU ETUI-REHS report “Better defending and promoting trade union rights in the public sector”, part I & II, September 2008 (Executive summary in Turkish and the national chapter on Turkey from Part 11 of the report in Turkish (see attached document). This report looks at trade union rights in the public sector and identifies problems facing trade union rights, in particular concerning the freedom of association, the right to collective bargaining and the right to take collective action, as well as information and consultation rights. The analysis provided focuses on three main forums or levels, namely the European Union, the Council of Europe and the ILO.

- Social dialogue in the local and regional government sector: an overview, April 2009 in Turkish. This overview looks at how the different forms of social dialogue are working at different levels in the local and regional government sector in the EU Member States and at EU level. It has been prepared for the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) and the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU), the two bodies which respectively represent the employers and the employees in social dialogue in the sector at European level.

- Strengthening the social dialogue in Local and Regional Government in the ‘new’ member states and candidate countries This gives information on the different social partner organisations in the local and regional government sector in the ‘new’ Member States plus Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey.
