Survey shows public opposition to job cuts

Finland

A public opinion poll commissioned by the Pardia state sector union shows a large majority (85%) opposed to job cuts because of the impact on quality of services. The union is arguing against further cuts in jobs and 5,000 still the target under the state productivity scheme.
