Senior legal officials and other civil servants are facing a 4% cut in pay for 2010 as part of the government’s measures to reduce public spending. The government originally planned to cut the pay of all civil servants by 4% but this was rejected in a vote in parliament.

Nurses’ unions contest attack on right to strike
The Tehy and SuPer nurses’ unions have responded angrily to plans by the government for legislation that would effectively ban strike action in health and social care. Pay system delivers 2% pay increase for EU officials
Around 50000 European public service officials and other workers employed by the European institutions and agencies are getting a 2% pay increase backdated to 1 July 2019.
