Today, the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU) released an EU study on job reductions in tax administrations that highlights the need to invest in the prevention of tax evasion and fraud.

As representatives of workers in this sector, EPSU works hard to address these core issues through social dialogue with employers at national and European level. Fighting covid19 in prisons and detention centres in Europe: Protected prison workers – protected inmates
Based primarily on reports provided by the EPSU prison services network, EPSU has put together an update on COVID-19 in Europe’s prisons and other detention centres, as well as five policy recommendations to protect prison workers and those under their care.

On 19th November, the Social Dialogue Committee for central and federal government administration -SDC CGA- met in Brussels to discuss the implications of the recent EPSU Vs European Commission court ruling, and to formally adopt a new joint checklist of dos and don’ts on digitalisation and work-life balance, amongst other things.
