Debate in European Parliament - violations of trade union rights in Turkey

(17 November 2017) The situation of workers’ and trade union rights in Turkey remains an issue of grave concern. Under the state of emergency violations of trade union rights take place. The standing rapporteur on Turkey Mrs. Kati Piri, member of the European Parliament has therefore organized a debate with the support of the ETUC. Representatives of Turkish unions, the European trade unions and the European Economic and Social Committee will attend as speakers. EPSU is supporting the event.
