Workers' group EESC concerned about developments Turkey

(28 April 2017) The workers' group of the European Economic and Social Committee held a meeting with Turkish journalist Can Dünbar who is living in exile in Germany. He was critical of the authorities and defended freedom of expression. The workers group that included several representatives of EPSU affiliated unions expressed its concerns about the situation. They stated their strong support for civil society.
