Many unions have been active on Public Services Day to underline that CETA is a bad deal for public service workers. Our message is getting more and more response. Governments have this week demanded that national parliaments should have a say as well. But the issue is Brexit.
The campaign to stop CETA has gathered pace, as EPSU this week launched a series of actions against the controversial EU-Canada free trade agreement. The first will take place on Public Service day (23 June), followed by a week of coordinated online action from 27 June – 1 July.

The past month was a busy one for EPSU, particularly with the 52nd Meeting of our Executive Committee and the launch of our brand new website. It was also a month which saw the international day of commemoration for all workers injured, killed or made ill in the workplace (28 April).
