Healthcare negotiations stalled by employer organisations

The CITUB confederation reports that the FSZ healthcare trade union has alerted top government officials to how employer organisations are obstructing negotiations for a new collective agreement in the healthcare sector. Despite legal obligations, the employers have consistently refused to participate in negotiations at the sectoral level, boycotting meetings scheduled on 10 and 16 April. Moreover, the FSZ received correspondence expressing employers' negative stance and categorical unwillingness to engage in council meetings. The employers propose setting up working groups to assess individual health facilities, a move seen as detrimental to the negotiation process. The FSZ vehemently opposes this stance and pledges nationwide protests if the delay continues.
