The FNV and CNV trade unions have negotiated a new two-year agreement covering workers in general practices. In terms of pay the agreement, backdated to 1 March 2015 will deliver a 3.75% increase in four stages. There are also provisions on shift work and annual leave affecting older workers and additional funds for trainees.

Pay rises for workers in general health practices
The FNV and other unions representing health staff have negotiated a new agreement covering workers in general practice that will run from the beginning of 2022 to 1 January 2024. In May 2022 there will be a pay increase of 3% for the lower pay scales (1-9) and 2% for those pay scale 10 and above. The end-of-year bonus will be increased by one percentage point to 7.5%. In May 2023 there will be a general pay increase of 2.6% and the end-of-year bonus will be increased to 8.33%. Staff working in medical general practices are set to get a 2% pay increase in a new agreement negotiated by the FNV and other trade unions. There will also be a structural 0.5% addition to the end-of-year bonus and a one-off increase of the same amount.
