Union continues to press for equal pay for equal work in GDF-Suez
The CGT trade union has sent its congratulations to Isabelle Koucher who has been promoted from head of the Lyonnaise des Eaux company to finance director at its parent company the GDF-Suez multinational. The union goes on to urge her to ensure that GDF-Suez ensures that it applies equal pay for work of equal value at its local subsidiaries. The union has been on strike for over four weeks at the Lyonnaise des Eaux regional control centre at Montgeron over equal pay issues and says that similar issues are at the heart of a dispute at the company’s Libourne site.
