Union wants minister to enact care sector minimum wage

Services union ver.di has called on employment minister Ursula von der Leyen to ensure that the promised minimum wage in the care sector takes effect from 1 August. The union is concerned that further excuses for delay will emerge and in particular it wants the government to be more transparent about opposition to the minimum wage from other ministries.
