Paris mayor goes for public water company

(November 2007) The mayor of Paris will defend the return of the concessions to a public company. The concessions are run by Veolia and Suez. Not only abroad but also in France the private sector water companies meet with resistance as their capacity to offer affordable, low prices and good quality service is increasinly questioned.
