The European Sectoral Social Dialogue for Gas was first established in 2008 with a reinforcement of actions in 2019 and is supported by the European Commission, DG Employment, Social Affairs, and Inclusion.

Last week, the European Social Partners in the gas sector held a joint webinar, hosted by MEPs Agnes Jongerius (S&D) and Dennis Radtke (EPP), on the transition to climate neutrality and the need to ensure that is just for the workers in the gas sector.

EU4Health should focus more on the healthcare profession and use the expertise of social partners in delivering the programme.

On Thursday, 17 September, two speakers representing EPSU participated in a seminar jointly organized by the European cross-sectoral partners ETUC, BusinessEurope, CEEP and SME United.

A decade ago, the European Sectoral Social Partners, EPSU, UNI EUROPA, ETUCE, HOSPEEM, CEMR, EFEE, EuroCommerce, CoESS identified third-party violence and harassment at the workplace as one of the key health and safety challenges to face within the European Economic Area

EPSU, together with the Social Employers, participated in a conference organized to highlight the deficiencies and shortcomings in the support to the social services sector during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Due to changing demographics, labour mobility and increasing family diversity, the social services sector is one of the fastest growing economic sectors in Europe.
