Invitation to the 16th meeting of Women’s and Gender Equality Committee
3 May 2011: 09.30 – 17.00 AND 4 May 2011: 9.30 – 16.00

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to the EPSU Gender Equality Committee meeting on Tuesday AND Wednesday 3 and 4 May 2011.

Venue and time
It will take place at the International Trade Union House, room B, 5 Boulevard du Roi Albert II, 1210 Brussels. The meeting will start at 9.30 and end at 17.00

Interpretation
Interpretation, in consultation with EPSU Russia/central Asia constituency, has been requested as follows:
Active: French, English, German, Spanish and Russian
Passive: Norwegian, Portuguese and Swedish

Accommodation and financial assistance
Should you require accommodation, a list of hotels in Brussels is attached.

We expect participating unions to cover all travel and subsistence costs of their representatives. Committee members from countries under 100% on the ‘5 band’ index, are referred to the attached ‘rules governing financial assistance.

The draft agenda is attached.

Further meeting documents mentioned in the draft agenda will be sent as soon as possible.

Please feel free to let us know as soon as possible if there are any agenda items you would like to raise and which have not yet been included into the agenda.

GEC as a two-days meeting
May I also remind you that the Executive Committee has since its last meeting decided to have a single GEC meeting but prolonged over two days. So as to ensure that gender equality issues remains an EPSU priority we are looking forward to your active participation.

ETUI/EPSU Training Seminar
We wish to inform you that a training seminar will be organized on the Gender Pay Gap on 13 November – 16 November 2011. The exact venue will be confirmed at a later stage.
