This can be subject to changes on the basis of the meeting participation list (see deadline below).

Accommodation and financial assistance

Should you require accommodation, a list of hotels in Brussels is attached.

We expect participating unions to cover all travel and subsistence costs of their representatives. Committee members from countries under 100% on the ‘5 band’ index, are referred to the attached ‘rules governing financial assistance’.

Agenda

The draft agenda and related documents are attached.

Following last Congress, you will be invited to elect a new presidency team (currently filled for the positions of Chair by Agnes Cser, Central Europe, and vice-chairs Sandra James, UK/Ireland and Kalle Liivimagi, N-E Europe).

Only 2 votes per constituency will be allowed (please see below nomination list and attached explanatory note on elections of chairs).

Please let us know if you have a specific agenda item you would like to add, thanks.

Participation/ Nominations

This invitation is addressed to the colleagues nominated by each of the EPSU’s constituencies – please see list attached.

It is reminded that the WGEC is to be composed of 4 delegates from each constituency (2 Titulars, one of whom must be drawn from the Executive Committee, and one of whom must be a woman + 2 substitutes).

For the following constituencies we have received too many nominations: Central Europe; N-E Europe; RU and CA.

On the other hand, we are still missing the nominations from Benelux/France and have received only 1 titular nomination for the Nordics and S-E Europe.

Could you please amend the list where necessary and let [email protected] and [email protected] know as soon as possible.

This is particularly important for the elections agenda item.

Participation form

Please fill in and return the attached participation form by 3 March at the latest.
