Solidarity with dismissed Greek water workers

(11 June 2018) Greek Unions are mobilising against the government and the administration in a bid to protest against the recent decision to lay off 23 workers from EYDAP.

The Athens water network workers have struggled with the uncertainty of their job status for the past 10 years. They now ask for their rights as workers to be respected following their recent dismissal.

The Workers' Committee is meeting with ministry representatives to attempt to solve the issue of the dismissal of the water workers.

The 23 workers stand with black flags and banners protesting the layoffs and a petition is being circulated in order to increase support and solidarity, please sign the petition using the link below.
