The European Sectoral Social Dialogue Committee on Local and Regional Governments took place on June 2nd 2022. The Committee welcomed its two new Chairs, Eva-Lotta Nilsson (EPSU) and Marc Elxnat (CEMR).
The Social Partners advanced in their discussion over the new work programme 2023-2025, that will include items as: digital transition, capacity building at the national level, EU economic governance and third-party violence.
Concerning TPV, Social partners expressed the need to update the 2010 Multi-sectoral guidelines, by adding the angle of digital and online violence and harassment, adding references to the ILO190, among others. Moreveor, social partners agreed that there is a need to keep disseminating the guidelines as many they are not fully known on the ground.
