The Head of Sector and Union Building will oversee PSI's global work in sectors, organising and trade union rights. You will manage diverse teams and programs, oversee budgets and planning, and coordinate advocacy efforts across our global operations. Your work will promote public service workers' interests to global organisations and support our affiliates to build trade union power on the ground. This position would suit an experienced national official looking for an international experience.
The Head of Office of the General Secretary will operate at the intersection of political, governance, and membership functions at the highest level. Working closely with PSI's leadership team, you will maintain affiliate relationships, ensure good governance, lead the implementation of the General Secretary's priorities, and coordinate operations across the organisation. The role requires someone politically sophisticated who can shape strategy, write policy, and work effectively in complex environments while supporting the General Secretary.
