(4 August 2021) With major private companies expanding across Europe, EPSU has published a new report examining some of the key trends in the privatisation of social services.
The report provides an overview of the extent of privatisation noting the expansion of major French companies across Europe. It also considers the evidence on the impact of privatisation on the quality, accessibility, and affordability of services as well as on the pay and conditions of workers.
The report was commissioned from the Public Services International Research Unit at the University of Greenwich in London.
