Notification of upcoming meetings 2005

Below you will find the proposed activities and dates for working group meetings for the first half of the year.
(The dates will be confirmed by the Commission one month before the meeting is due to take place).

A draft agenda is also attached for the first of these meetings, ie the human resources working group on 12 January 2005. Given the tight deadline we would appreciate nominations for this group as soon as possible.




To recall, the Commission will reimburse travel and accommodation costs of EU participants for all social dialogue meetings (except the social dialogue enlargement project where we have a separate budget to cover costs). The Commission can also provide up to three languages for working groups, and five for plenary-styles meetings.




Ad hoc working group on human resources on 12 January 2005, Brussels
Up to 15 participants per side can be reimbursed; 3 languages requested (English, French, German) - NOMINATIONS URGENTLY REQUESTED




1st meeting of steering group of Social Dialogue project on enlargement 13 January 2005, Brussels
(date to be confirmed if this suits the contractor for the proposed study);
4-6 persons per side can be reimbursed; English only




Ad hoc working group on telework on 2 March 2005
Up to 15 participants from per side can be reimbursed; 3 languages, to be chosen in relation to participants needs

Employment workshop (plenary style meeting) 19 May 2005
Up to 25 participants per side can be reimbursed; 5 languages, to be chosen in relation to participants needs.
