Global Fresenius Trade Union Alliance meets on-line

meeting on Fresenius 28 October

(30 October 2020) Trade unionists from across the global operations of Fresenius, the German health giant, met online 28 October. The union representatives exchanged information about how the company is dealing with the pandemic. Many had stories of lack of personal protective equipment, workers having been infected but have been demanded to continue working risking the patients, and local management suppressing protests, critical voices and union organising. The tax avoidance behavior was highlighted. This continues the pattern from before the pandemic. The unions will continue their work to coordinate a union response.
