(25 February 2021) The Center for International Corporate Tax Accountability and Research (CICTAR) and PSI have just published a new report giving more details about how the Canadian care home operator Revera has been using aggressive tax avoidance to extract profits out of UK residences.
These findings add to a previous CICTAR report which outlined the aggressive tax practices of Revera. These cases underline why it is important that companies report on where they pay their taxes and how much. The EU is discussing steps for obligatory public country by country reporting by multinational companies, and EPSU firmly supports the campaign to convince the EU member states to adopt legislation to this end.
