The European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), supported by the European Trade Union Committee for Education (ETUCE), EPSU, Eurocadres and the European Council of the Liberal Professions (CEPLIS), has sent a letter to MEPs and the European Commission to explain the amendmends these organisations and their affiliated members to the EC proposal to revise Directive 2005/36/EC on the recognition of professional qualifications, published on 19 December 2011.
The letter also refers to the joint statements of the European social partners in hospital/health care sector, HOSPEEM and EPSU, and in the education sector, EFEE and ETUCE.
The letter and the proposed amendments is mainly building on input from ETUCE, EPSU (now available in EN, FR, DE, ES and SV) and the joint HOSPEEM-EPSU reply.
