(7 February 2018) Over 80 representatives from more than 24 countries gathered today in Prague for a conference entitled 'Towards a New Gender Contract: Implementing gender equality in times of crisis".
The event is one of the biggest ever organised by the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU) on gender equality and women's rights. EPSU has been campaigning for a long time to close the gender pay gap but also to tackle the problem of violence against women.
Today's conference is part of our effort to make the issue a relevant part of the work of the trade union movement.
