The process of setting up of the regional SEE Energy Community has been completed and in operation since 2006. ETUI-REHS, EPSU/PSI and PERC are organising a regional workshop to develop a trade union strategy for the role of the trade unions in the SEE energy community. The workshop is supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation with the Initiative for Social Cohesion of the Stability Pact for SEE as well as EPSU and PSI. You are kindly invited to participate in the joint workshop “Developing Social Dialogue in the SEE Energy community - MoU and the Social Forum”. The workshop will take place on 7-8 June 2005 in Sofia (provisional programme attached). The venue of the workshop will be in the Central Hotel Forum, bld. Tsar Boris III, 41, 1612 Sofia. Interpretation will be in English, Rumanian, Bulgarian, Albanian and Serb languages. Accommodation will be provided in the same hotel. All costs for visa, travel, accommodation and lunch/food will be covered by the organisers. Your union is kindly invited to send participants to the workshop. One participant for your organisation will be reimbursed, but more representatives can be sent. As the number of places is limited unions which are in order with affiliation obligations to EPSU/PSI will get priority.
