The ETUC is calling on its affiliates to support the day of action with national campaigns and events. Together with the French affiliated unions, ETUC will organise a European rally on 7 October in Paris. Read the ITUC press release, and the ETUC news.

It is important for all unions and including public services unions to participate and organise activities and events on this day to draw attention to our demands for Decent Work and Decent Pay. We propose that in your national events you also draw attention to public service workers and our demands for Quality Public Services - http://www.epsu.org/r/72.

Please consider if the occasion can be used also in your strategies to organise workers, not yet members of your union.

Please inform us of actions you are planning to undertake on 7 October (to the attention of [email protected]).

We wish you successful campaigning.
