EPSU and European energy consumer rights: a critical approach

Just a few days after the opening date of the internal market for electricity and gas, 1 july 2007, the Commission published a proposal for an Energy Consumers’ Charter. The Commission recognises that the internal market on electricity and gas does not deliver for consumers and that more protection is needed. Critical analysis of the Security of Supply Directive, October 2004

The European Commission published a Directive on investment in infrastructure to ensure security of supply, December 2003.
