How to fight water privatisation ?
EPSU, PSI as well as PSIRU (www.psiru.org) provide much information that can
assist your union and its local branches as well as community and other
social action groups to fight the privatisation of water and waste water
treatment facilities. Many other organisations do assist as well. A lot of
information is available on the website of Public Citizen, a US NGO. It has
also published a guide to oppose privatisation and provides detailed
guidelines to activists and organisers who have to convince politicians and
others of the problems and risks of water privatisation. PSI is working on
many occassions in coalitions with Public Citizen.
