Parliament votes for common training provision for hospital cleaners

The FOA public services union has welcomed a parliamentary vote in favour of requiring hospital cleaners to be properly trained. The union referred to recent scandals about the standards of cleanliness in metropolitan hospitals and is pleased that the need for proper training for cleaning staff has been recognised.
