Firefighters network meeting

We are pleased to invite you to the next meeting of the EPSU firefighters’ network, which will take place on 23 September in Brussels at the European Economic and Social Committee, Room VM3, 99 rue Belliard - 1040 Brussels.

It will start at 09.00 and will end at 17.00. An area map is enclosed for information.

Interpretation has been requested to and from French, English, German, Italian, Portuguese and Swedish. We have also requested the possibility to speak Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Spanish and Greek. We have been informed that we have to cancel interpretation six weeks in advance of the meeting to not be charged the costs of the interpretation. Thereafter we will be charged 50% of the costs (between 6-2 weeks) and 100% of the costs if it is just within 15 days of the meeting.

The meeting is being held the day before the LRG Standing Committee and interested colleagues are welcome to participate in both meetings.

A joint dinner will take place on the evening of 23 September, at 20h00 (venue to follow).

We attach a draft agenda for the meeting, a registration form, and a list of network members (please update your contact details as necessary).

Please note that EPSU will contribute to the travel and accommodation of representatives from countries eligible for financial assistance and having fulfilled their affiliation obligations towards EPSU as laid out in the EPSU Constitution (and who are not members of the LRG Standing Committee) on the basis of 1 representative per country:
travel costs up to a maximum of 350 euros. In order to be reimbursed, tickets and boarding cards must be kept and sent back to EPSU after the conference with the expense claim (taxis will not be reimbursed).
accommodation costs up to a maximum of 140 euro per night, for a maximum stay of 2 nights (for colleagues staying for the LRG Standing Committee).
