EUPAN/TUNED Plenary Social Dialogue meeting (Test Phase)

As previously announced, you are herewith invited to the bi-annual EUPAN/TUNED plenary social dialogue meeting which will take place at the Ministère du Budget, des Comptes Publics et de la Fonction Publique, 139 rue de Bercy, 75012 Paris.

The meeting will start at 9:00 and will end at 12:30 and will be followed by a buffet lunch offered by the French EU Presidency.

Participants who wish to stay on after the plenary social dialogue meeting are also invited to attend the gala dinner organised by the French EU Presidency on 19 December from 20:00 to 23:00 at the Orsay Museum. If you chose to attend this event, please complete the relevant section when you register on line with the French Presidency (see below).

A separate preparatory TUNED meeting will take place on 18 December from 16:00 to 18:00 at the offices of the CFDT Interco 47 Avenue Simon Bolivar –75019 Paris. Interpretation will be available in French and English

Agenda

The agenda will be sent shortly and will include the following 3 items:

 Presentation of the draft EUPAN/TUNED joint position on stress at work and signing by French Director General Paul Peny and TUNED spokesperson Charles Cochrane

 Presentation of the EU-funded EUPAN/TUNED Project “improving trust in central government administrations through effective social dialogue”, i.e. results of the discussion on the role of social dialogue in anticipating and managing change at the social dialogue working group meeting of 13 November

 Presentation of the mid-term evaluation of the Test Phase on “work forms and topics” of a formal social dialogue

Time for discussion will be kept in between each of the above topics

Working languages

Interpretation will be available in French, English, German, Italian and Spanish

 I refer you to points 3, 4 and 5 of the attached practical information sheet issued by the French Presidency concerning official registration and security,
 Please also register with the Secretariat using the attached participation form which within the given deadline (by 28 November at the very latest)

Accommodation

Colleagues from CFDT Interco have kindly assisted in organising block bookings for the night of 18 December at the following hotels which are close to their offices where our preparatory meeting will take place (see below).

Overnight accommodation at both hotels costs between 60 and 65 Euros/night.

The secretariat will make your reservation on the basis of the information you provide on your above-mentioned participation form and send you a confirmation. This can only be done for participants having registered within the deadline of 28 November at the very latest.

Participants are requested to cover the costs of their travel and accommodation, EPSU representatives eligible for financial assistance will be compensated after the meeting.
