Third regional meeting on collective bargaining and social dialogue

(15 September 2008) Thirty-two delegates from EPSU affiliates in nine countries took part in the third and final regional meeting on social dialogue and collective bargaining. They debated a range of issues including pay developments in the public services, collective bargaining policy, improving the workings of the sectoral social dialogue and the draft collective bargaining resolution for next year’s EPSU Congress. The participants were from Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, FYR Macedonia, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Turkey. The aim of the three meetings was to provide EPSU affiliates with an alternative forum to discuss collective bargaining and social dialogue issues. Overall over 90 delegates from 26 countries took part. A full report of all three meetings will be sent to these delegates and also to all delegates at the EPSU collective bargaining and social dialogue conference that will take place on 9-10 December in Brussels.
