EPSU/Ver.di Seminar on European Works Councils (EWC) in Eon
Representatives of unions from Sweden (Sydkraft), United Kingdom (Powergen), Germany (Eon Energie), Netherlands, Hungary and Czech Republic met to consider developments in the EWC of Eon AG. It has a voluntary agreement. It is updated to take account of many changes such as take-over of Ruhrgas. The unions were concerned about the information and consultation process. EPSU will sned critical remarks to management. A first meeting of the new EWC is foreseen for 2-4 March 2004.
