You are herewith invited to the 31st meeting of the EPSU Standing Committee on Local and Regional Government on 13 October 2008; the meeting will take place at the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), room JDE 70, 7th floor, Rue Belliard 99, 1040 Brussels, starting at 09h30 and ending at 17h30.
Interpretation will be provided to and from French, English, German, Italian, Portuguese and Swedish. We have also requested (awaiting confirmation) the possibility to speak Danish, Spanish and Norwegian (and possibly Greek). It is imperative that we have your registration by 5 September 2008 at the latest.
We expect participating unions to cover all travel and subsistence costs of their representatives. Committee members from countries under 100% on the ‘5 band’ index, are referred to the attached ‘rules governing financial assistance’.
The draft agenda and meeting documents will be sent as soon as possible.
Should you require accommodation, a list of hotels in Brussels offering preferential tariffs to the EPSU/ETUC is attached. An area map is enclosed for information.
