3rd EPSU Trade Union Journalists seminar

The 3rd EPSU journalists’ network meeting will take place in Brussels, on 27 February 2008. There is also the possibility for the trade union journalists to stay in Brussels on 28 February to cover the “EPSU action day on overcrowding in prisons”.

This seminar has two aims;

Section A - EPSU campaigns and subject areas

The seminar will consist of a full briefing for trade union journalists on the following EPSU campaigns:

The EU wide action day on overcrowding in prisons
On the proposed EU directive on cross border healthcare
The campaign for an EU legal framework on public services

Section B - developing the EPSU Communications infrastructure

Seminar participants will be encouraged to share new tools and developments in the areas of;

Database management
Web-based communication

Participants will be requested to give national examples of innovate practices in the field of web-based trade union communication.
