Not-for-profit and focus on public utilities That is the basis of the Global Water Operators Partnership Alliance. It is an initiative established by the UN Water Advisory Board which makes recommendations to the UN General Secretary to achieve the Millenium Goals. PSI is a member of the Water Advisory Board and together with manyy allies has been able to ensure that the Board focuses on where it counts: improving the performance of the world’s public utilities through a process of trust with civil society and trade unions.
