AbvaKabo Congress re-elects Edith Snoey and sees youth representative enter Board

The Congress of EPSU affiliate AbvaKabo discussed a range of issues including on pay and conditions, pensions and the public sector, 17-18 May. The union commits to more European work and argues for a broader discussion on public services in the Netherlands. It re-elected Edit Snoey as President and Jenneke van Pijpen as vice-President. Jenneke represents the union on the EPSU Executive Committee and the constituency on the Steering Committee. A new officer elected is Charley Ramdas. Congress elected 50% women to the Board (lay members) and included a representative from the young workers. The EPSU Deputy General Secretary represented EPSU and took part in a debate on Europe and Industrial Relations. For a full listed of the elected members.
