Social Dialogue Electricity on Equality, 6 March 2006
The social partners met to consider the follow up to the project to develop a toolkit on equality and diversity policies in electricity companies. This project is the result of a joint study with the University of Cardiff, a joint statement on equality and a joint position on the issues to be covered in such a toolkit.
The Steering Committee selected Jane Pillinger as the expert to provide the electricity social dialogue partners with the toolkit. They further discussed the time plan for the expert to deliver her report and the companies to be requested more information on best practices.
The toolkit should be presented at a joint conference, 14 December 2006, Brussels. Members of the Steering Committee for EPSU are Siobhan Browne, ESBOA, Ireland and Karin Harder, Verdi, Germany.
